Reggio & Montessori-Inspired Play

At First Five Club, play is never just play.

Our space is inspired by two of the world's most respected early childhood philosophies — Reggio Emilia and Montessori — both rooted in the belief that children are naturally curious, capable, and driven to learn when given the right environment to explore.

Reggio Emilia sees your child as an active participant in their own learning — creative, resourceful, and full of wonder. Our space is designed to spark curiosity, encourage self-expression, and let your child lead the way.

Montessori brings hands-on, self-directed learning to life — where children follow their own pace, develop real-world skills, and build confidence through discovery rather than instruction.

Together, these approaches shape everything at First Five Club — from the materials we choose to the way our staff engage with your little one. The result is a space where every visit supports your child's cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development, naturally and joyfully.

We have our own dedicated parking lot right outside First Five Club. If the lot is full, overflow parking is available just a short walk away at Milroy Park or Portage Place.
