Cancellation Policy
A. General Cancellation and Refund Terms
Cancellation by Participant:
If you need to cancel your registration, written notice must be provided via email to First Five Club before the start of the session.
Refunds, if applicable, will be processed based on the timelines outlined in Section B.
Cancellation by First Five Club:
If First Five Club cancels a session or event due to low enrollment, instructor unavailability, or other unforeseen circumstances, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to another session.
Weather-Related and Emergency Cancellations:
If a class is canceled due to weather, natural disasters, facility closures, or other emergencies beyond our control, we will make reasonable efforts to offer a makeup class. If a makeup class is not possible, refunds will not be issued.
No-Shows:
Refunds or credits will not be provided for missed classes due to personal scheduling conflicts, illness, or other personal reasons of the participant, unless covered under the exceptional circumstances policy (see Section C).
B. Refund Eligibility
Full Refunds:
Cancellations made before “31 days before the start of the session” are eligible for a full refund, minus a non-refundable processing fee of 3.8% to cover administrative costs.
Partial Refunds or Credit:
Cancellations made 20-31 days before the start of the session are eligible for a 50% refund or credit toward a future class.
Cancellations made less than 19 days before the start of the session are not eligible for a refund but may receive a class credit at the discretion of First Five Club.
Drop-In Sessions:
Drop-in class fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Memberships or Multi-Session Passes:
Refunds for multi-session passes or memberships are not available once the pass is activated. If you need to discontinue use, a prorated credit may be issued for future programs on a case-by-case basis. Transfer and/or processing fees may apply.
C. Exceptional Circumstances
Medical or Family Emergencies:
If a participant or their child experiences a medical emergency, a prorated refund or class credit may be issued upon submission of appropriate documentation (e.g., doctor’s note).
Requests due to unforeseen personal hardships will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Transfers to Another Session:
Participants may request to transfer their registration to a different session, subject to availability and approval. Transfer requests must be made at least 10 days before the scheduled class. Transfer fees may apply.
D. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days.
Refunds will be issued in the original payment method whenever possible. If a refund to the original payment method is not possible, a gift certificate for future use will be provided.
Refunds will not be granted retroactively for sessions already attended.
